We’re delighted to congratulate Raul Diaz on successfully passing his PhD viva.
Raul did an IBM sponsored PhD at the University College Dublin under the supervision of Prof Denis Shields working on accelerating and de-risking drug discovery by developing predictive methods to guide experimental design. Although Raul joined the CRT later than other cohort 4 students , he quickly made this mark through hard work, determination, and scientific excellence, and completed his PhD in record time! This achievement reflects both his outstanding commitment and the quality of his research.
We are also delighted to see Raul embark on an exciting new chapter as Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Bicycle Therapeutics, Cambridge, UK. We wish Raul every success in this fascinating role and look forward to following his future achievements.
