The CRT writing retreat took place in Westport from 2-5th Mary
The thesis writing retreat was an incredibly valuable experience for PhD students, providing a dedicated space to focus fully on progressing their writing. Being able to concentrate on the thesis for three and a half uninterrupted days made a huge difference to productivity and motivation. The venue was welcoming and comfortable, creating the perfect environment for sustained work and reflection. Students particularly appreciated the opportunity to receive practical tips and advice from graduates who had already completed their write-up who zoomed into the retreat! Hearing about their experiences made the process feel more manageable and reassuring. Overall, the retreat offered a fantastic opportunity to make real progress while feeling supported by the CRT, a community of peers and recent graduates.
