Prior to commencing the programme students will receive all project proposals submitted by the supervisor group.
Students will have a chance to evaluate the proposals, contact supervisors to discuss their projects, meet many of the supervisors during the RTP and day trips will be arranged so students can meet supervisors based in Cork and Dublin. At the end of October Students will submit a ranked list of PhD projects from the projects available and every effort will be made to ensure that students get a project of their choice. Once projects have been allocated, students will liaise with their supervisor to begin the process of registering for a PhD in the host institution of their supervisor (if they are not based at NUI Galway).
