Pasha Baranov is elected to the Royal Irish Academy

Congratulations to Pasha Baranov  CRT Supervisor and CRT programme lead at UCC on being elected to the Royal Irish Academy.

The Royal Irish Academy (RIA) is Irelands leading body of experts in the sciences and humanities. The RIA champions research and identifies and recognises Ireland’s world class researchers. They support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. The RIA believes that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.
