I graduated with a BSc. in Medical Science from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in 2014. I have worked in the National Carbapenemase Producing Enterobacterales (CPE) Reference Laboratory Galway for the last 5 years using NGS to identify, characterise and track CPE in Ireland. My PhD will focus on genomic solutions for the one health surveillance of carbapenem resistance elements.
