I studied the BSc in Biochemistry (2014-2018) and later did the MSc in Bioenterprise (2018-2019) in the University of Granada (Spain). During the last year of my undergrad and during the master I started my research experience by being part of Dr Pedro Medina’s lab (University of Granada) as a student intern and by visiting Dr Tom Moore’s lab in the summers of 2017 and 2018. I gained skills in the wet lab domain and thought to extend my expertise to Bioinformatics, which made me decide to do my PhD in Genomics Data Science.
