My research is focused on metagenomic data from the gut microbiome and environment. I am especially interested in the virome aspect and crAss-like phages – the most abundant human-associated virus, where my project is centered on their taxonomy and comparative genomics. I’m also interested in software development, discovering new viral sequences and plant-microbe interactions.
