I have a BSc in Genetics and Cell Biology from Dublin City University (2016) and an MSc in Biomedical Genomics from NUI Galway (2019). Prior to pursuing my masters, I gained two years of experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry with Bristol-Myers Squibb in Dublin. I’m fascinated by how much remains to be understood about how variation in the regulatory, non-coding portion of the genome contributes to phenotypic variation and disease. I have a strong interest in uncovering the separate and combined contributions of both protein-coding variation and regulatory, transcriptomic variation to human disease.
