I graduated from University College Cork in 2019 with a first class honours BSc in Genetics. Following this I pursued a MSc Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at UCC. Previous research projects have focused on the development of bioinformatic methods and frameworks relevant to the study of translation. Research interests: Transcript expression quantification, alternative representations of protein coding loci, use of graph genomes/transcriptomes. Also interested in the development of bioinformatic algorithms.
