My first bachelor was in Biotechnologies, then I did a MSc in Molecular Biotechnology and then (finally) a MSc in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. I am currently based in UCC as part of LAPTI Lab (LAboratory of Post-Transcriptional control and bioInformatics). My main “biological” research focus is the study of translation.
My current projects revolve around the development of tools to infer genes that could share translation-regulatory mechanisms and web-tools to visualise differentially-translated genes between conditions of interest.
