I completed a BSc in Medical Genetics at the University of Leicester in 2020 which was followed by a 9-month internship at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI). Here I was carrying out high-level curation for both the PGS and GWAS catalogs. I then did a MSc in Precision Medicine at the University of Leeds focusing on the use of pigmentation-based polygenic scores in melanoma.
My particular interests lie in cancer genomics and my current PhD project focuses on the characterisation of mutations in methyl-transferases predominantly in breast cancer.
