I have a BSc in Science (Microbiology) and an MSc in Biomedical Genomics from University of Galway. I am interested in using genomics to study evolution, developmental biology and virology. My current work is on using the growing database of publicly available genomic assemblies to identify retroviral integrations and investigate how these have shaped placental evolution.
