Well done to Dr Kane Collins who passed his viva on Friday 6th Sept!
Kane worked under the supervision of Prof Gianpiero Cavalleri at RCSI and his research project focused on “The role of genetic burden in Kidney function and kidney transplant outcome“.
Kane plans to stay on in the Cavalleri group for 6 months and then he’d like to go abroad and work in Industry for a few years.
The best of luck to Kane – we’re sure he’ll be successful in whatever path he takes!
