Fantastic to see the very first of our Cohort 4 students Sodiq Ayobami Hameed pass his viva!
Sodiq did his PhD in Systems Biology Ireland at UCD under the supervision of Vadim Zhernovkov and his research project was on ““Inferring physical cell-cell interactions in tumour microenvironments using scRNAseq datasets,” where he focused on developing on novel methods to analyse single-cell RNA sequencing data, extracting new data to better understand how cells interact within tumour environments.
Congratulations to Sodiq and we wish him every success in what we are sure will be a stellar career ahead!
