I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science from Moscow State University and went on to complete an MSc in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, with a focus on studying soil microbiomes. Additionally, I gained valuable work experience in the field of genomic selection for animal breeding at a local start-up company Ksitest.
Currently, my PhD project centers around investigating the genetic structure of the Thoroughbred population. The primary objective is to utilize familial variation to identify genes of economic significance, including those associated with health and welfare traits.
