Congratulations to Helen Horkan (NUIG) and Isabelle Boothman (RCSI) for winning this years award for Best Student Contribution to the CRT!
Their excellent organization of the careers talks series has been of great benefit to all CRT students. The talks take place once a month and generally have 2 presenters – one early stage and one more established. Isabelle and Helen have gone to great effort to find a wide range of speakers who talk to the students about their career paths, what their current job is like, what they would go back and change if they could and what advice or tips they have for young researchers. Its been a fantastic success and a real help getting all students to think about where they want to go and how they might get there!
