I hold three First Class Honours degrees – an undergraduate in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc. in Financial Mathematics from DCU and an MSc. in Genetics and Cell Biology from UCD. I spent 14 years working as a quantitative trader, using data science and machine learning to develop successful trading strategies. I would now like to apply and further develop these skills in bioinformatics. I’m looking forward to working in the area of Immunology, focusing on characterising innate T cells in solid tumours.
